I found installation of this kit to be very straightforward as well. All I had to do was wire both the motor and light individually before connecting it to Wi Fi. Also remember that you need to switch your Wi Fi network over to 2.4GHz before starting installation as this kit requires a 2.4 GHz connection for optimal performance.
