With this level of power it s easy to see why this is an excellent choice for anyone looking to get a top notch sound system.
The Onkyo TX NR646 is equipped with DTS:X which is a next generation object based surround sound technology that includes height to deliver a fully immersive listening experience. It also supports Dolby Atmos Up to 5.1.2 Channels for captivating, multidimensional sound which is something you don t often find in other receivers in this price range.
In terms of connectivity, the Onkyo TX NR646 has plenty to offer as well. It has nine HDMI ports total with four being HDMI 2.0a capable for 4K/60 Hz video streaming and broadcast support as well as HDCP 2.2 for premium 4K/Full HD video streaming and broadcast protection. Additionally, it comes with built in Bluetooth and Wi Fi so you can stream virtually any audio from your smartphone or tablet using popular apps such as Pandora and Spotify while taking advantage of Airplay compatibility too.
As far as who this product is best suited for goes I think it would be great for anyone looking to upgrade their home theatre setup without breaking the bank but still wanting great quality sound and performance from their receiver.
