I recently had the opportunity to try out the Thule Passage Trunk Mount Carrier and I was very impressed with the product. This carrier is designed to securely transport up to two bicycles on the back of your vehicle, and it did a great job of keeping my bikes safe and secure during my travels.
The carrier comes with rubber cradles that help protect the bike frame while holding it securely in place. The Stay Put anti sway cages are designed to prevent any bike to bike or bike to vehicle contact. The patented FitDial provides a perfect fit for your car, while the arms fold down when not in use for easy storage. It also has SoftCushion leg pads that help protect your trunk and hatch from wear and tear.
The Thule Passage Trunk Mount Carrier is incredibly easy to install and assemble, even for someone who isn t particularly mechanically inclined like myself. I was able to get it installed quickly and easily without any trouble at all. It also has a generous load capacity of 105 pounds, more than enough for my needs.
For those looking for a convenient way to transport their bikes on their vehicles, this is an excellent option. It s lightweight, sturdy, easy to install, and fits almost any vehicle type with standard factory installed spoilers. However, if you have an aftermarket spoiler you may need a frame adapter to securely attach it to the hanging bike rack. Additionally, please note that some frame styles may require a Thule Frame Adapter as well.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an efficient way to transport their bicycles on their car or truck safely and securely. The Thule Passage Trunk Mount Carrier is one of the best products I have used in this category so far and I am sure that it will continue to serve me well in the future as well.
