It is designed to help kids learn good dental health practices while also easing any fears they may have of visiting the dentist.

The Melissa Doug Super Smile Dentist Kit comes with a set of pretend teeth, dry erase marker, examination tools, toothbrush, toothpaste tube, dental rinse bottle and cup, two gauze pads, three tooth polish cups, top and bottom retainers and braces, mask, reusable ID tag on a lanyard and double sided reusable activity card. It is made from 80 plastic 40 ABS, 10 EVA, 10 PP, 10 PET, 20 Nylon, 4 TPE, 2 HDPE, 2 COPP and 2 Silicone 15 fabric 40 Polyester, 30 Polyester/cotton 20 , Nylon 10 , Felt and 5 paper. The manufacturer recommends it for children ages 3 to 6 years old.

What I love most about this product is how realistic it is and how it helps kids learn about dental health in a fun way. With the pretend teeth they can use the dry erase marker to mark decay then clean with vibrating tool with interchangeable polishing and drill heads or toothbrush. They can even practice pretend extractions by having the back four teeth wiggle and lift up. This could help alleviate any anxieties or fears kids have about going to the dentist.
