I recently purchased the Erector by Meccano Geared Machines S.T.E.A.M. Building Kit for my 10 year old daughter and I was highly impressed with the quality of the product and its educational value. The Erector by Meccano Geared Machines S.T.E.A.M Building Kit comes with 191 parts including metal nuts and bolts, a Maker Tool, 6 blueprints and an instruction manual to get young inventors started on their projects right away! The Maker Tool is a great way to make sure that your child can customize their project however they like, as it comes with a multi spaced hole punch, edge guide, screw gauge and scorer that allows them to use cardboard, foam or plastic to create unique pieces for their project!

My daughter was able to build her first creation in just a few hours using the instruction manual provided! She was absolutely delighted when she saw how her creation moved and how it worked! With the 6 blueprints included in the kit, she has been able to come up with new ideas and designs for her creations every day!
