Expert opinion

I recently had the pleasure of trying out the AQUAGLIDE Chinook 120 Inflatable Kayak. This kayak is perfect for one or two people on short trips, exploring lakes and other recreational flat water paddling. It has a 12 foot open bow layout that is ideal for tandem paddling and can carry up to 550 pounds, including a child, pet, or extra gear.

The kayak itself only weighs 28 pounds and comes with a duffle style storage bag for effortless transportation. The molded plastic carry handles on the bow and stern allow for comfortable carrying or lifting. I found this feature to be especially helpful when transporting the kayak from my car to the lake or river I was paddling on.

The kayak also includes two seats with foot rests, one removable child seat, four PVC rod holder sleeves, a quick release fin, a storage bag, and a repair kit. The seats were comfortable enough for long trips and provided enough support for me while paddling. The PVC rod holder sleeves were great for holding my fishing rods so I didn t have to worry about them bouncing around while I was paddling.

In terms of stability, I found that the Chinook 120 was very stable in calm waters but could be somewhat unsteady in choppy waters due to its lightweight construction. Inflating the kayak was fairly straightforward and took no more than 10 minutes with an electric pump.

Overall, I would highly recommend the AQUAGLIDE Chinook 120 Inflatable Kayak to anyone looking for an affordable and easy to use kayak that is perfect for recreational flat water paddling with one or two people. It s lightweight construction makes it easy to transport and store but also means that it is not ideal for choppy waters or long trips. The included accessories make it great value for money and provide everything you need to get out on the water quickly and easily.
