Akai Professional MIDImix USB MIDI Controller Mixer Review

I recently had the pleasure of trying out Akai Professional s MIDImix USB MIDI Controller Mixer. I must say, it is one of the best pieces of hardware I have ever used for music production. It has everything I need to take my productions to the next level.

The MIDImix provides complete mix control over your mixdown. You can easily adjust track volume, virtual instrument parameters, effect settings and more using the individual line faders and master fader. With 24 knobs, you can control EQ, bus sends, virtual instrument parameters, effect settings and more with ease. The 16 buttons are great for quickly muting or soloing tracks or arming them for recording.

In terms of build quality, Akai Professional did not skimp out on their construction materials this mixer feels very solid and well built despite its light weight design. The knobs feel responsive when adjusting levels and the faders have just enough resistance to make mixing easier without feeling too stiff or too loose. The buttons are also easy to push without feeling flimsy or cheap.
